Notes
- Apple Cider Vinegar: Always use raw, unfiltered ACV with “the mother” for maximum health benefits. Bragg is a commonly trusted brand.
- Flavor Adjustments: If the flavor is too strong, add more water or a splash of 100% pineapple juice to mellow it out.
- Sweetener Options: For a keto-friendly version, skip honey and use stevia or monk fruit instead.
- Spice Boost: Cayenne pepper is optional but can help with metabolism and adds a gentle kick.
- When to Drink: Best consumed in the morning on an empty stomach or 20 minutes before meals to aid digestion.
- Storage: This is a single-serve recipe and best enjoyed fresh. However, it can be prepped ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
- Precaution: If you have acid reflux, sensitive teeth, or a history of ulcers, consult your doctor before regularly consuming vinegar-based drinks.
- Tip: Always rinse your mouth with water afterward to protect tooth enamel from the acidity of vinegar and citrus.
